Presentation Abstract:
The Implantation Window refers to the period when the endometrium is in its optimal receptive state, typically occurring 5–7 days after ovulation. During this phase, the morphological characteristics of the endometrium—including thickness, vascular distribution, and glandular activity—as well as its molecular biological properties, reach an ideal state for embryo implantation. Key factors such as leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF), natural killer (NK) cells, and prostaglandins exhibit specific expression patterns that are crucial for successful embryo attachment.
In the field of assisted reproduction, accurately identifying the implantation window is critical for improving embryo implantation rates. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) fertility support therapies emphasize the principle of \”treatment tailored to timing,\” requiring not only a deep understanding of the physiological features of the implantation window but also mastery of the appropriate acupuncture and herbal strategies—ensuring precise timing, proper methods, and optimal dosage.
This discussion will focus on the clinical application guidelines for moxibustion and tonifying herbs during the implantation window, while also exploring their therapeutic implications for related gynecological conditions.
